Features of Customized Odoo Payment Reminder Module
A user can easily set intervals to send reminder emails for pending invoice bills. There are two main intervals where the user can set the mail reminders, i.e., before the due date and after the due date. Here are the steps you need to follow once you have installed the module:
- Enable the payment reminder boolean to avail the features of the module:
- In the first phase, the user will be asked to set a reminder date to send mail to a particular customer/vendor before the arrival of the payment due date. As shown in the image below, the user wants to set the reminder mail ten days before the due date. Following it, the user needs to select-“Payment Reminder before due date” from the Mail Template dropdown.
- Here’s the output of the reminder mail sent before the due date to the customer:
- Now there is another option for the user if payment is unsettled even after the due date i.e., sending reminder mail after the due date is passed. Let’s say the user wants to send a reminder mail after two days of the actual due date. To execute this action, the user will need to select the Payment Reminder: after the due date from the Mail Template dropdown.
- As per the above selection, the reminder mail is sent to the customer/vendor after two days passed over the due date:
- Apart from just sending reminder emails, users can also keep track of how many reminder emails were sent and by which user? In short, the user can access every customer’s Payment Reminder mail history.
